The Transformation Process

Church membership, first mentioned in Acts 1-5, is Partnering Together. We commit ourselves to an organized body, commissioned by Jesus Himself to fulfill His command in the Great Commission – the gospels.

At HVCC, here are some of our most important goals:

To see lives 'Transformed’ by the power of Christ.

To build meaningful, lasting ‘Relationships’ with one another.

To come together and ‘Serve’ one another and our community.

To ‘Reach’ our families, friends, neighbors and the world – missions.

Transform, Relate, Serve, and Reach are important keys, each of which Christ modeled. We endeavor to do the same. Join us and help us transform ourselves and others, build relationships that are real and meaningful, serve Him, and reach out to the community and others with the gospel of Christ.

Jesus Modeled the Transformation Process

This discipleship process Jesus modeled was essential to his plan to reach the world. In John 17:3-4, Jesus said, “This is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”

Too often Christians focus rightly on the gospel message of the Cross but forget about the discipleship process Jesus revealed and modeled.

Jesus was a transformer!

Again, He came not only to die but also give us a model of transformation - for disciple-making which trains Christians to repeat the same process. This is how we accurately represent Him and deliver His message to the world.

If Jesus had not trained disciples who could in turn train others, the gospel message would have been lost. This ‘Transformation’ process is an on-going process. Join us as we bring Christ to our families and communities.

Come and be transformed through the Word of God, the teachings of Christ, and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
