We exist to bring glory to God by making disciples through gospel-centered worship, gospel-centered community, gospel-centered service and gospel-centered multiplication. Out of this gospel-centered service is the overflow of discipleship, serving those in and outside the church. One of the ways we pursue and live out this discipleship trait is through volunteer opportunities.
Volunteers in Community Kids minister to our children during weekend worship services through singing, telling stories and teaching the truth of God's Word with the children. They lead classrooms, provide assistance to classroom teachers and sing or play with the children as well.
We're always looking for great individuals to love and serve our kids, and help show the love of Christ to them during our gatherings. If you're someone who would like to serve, or just know a little bit more about Community Kids, please connect with us.
Those serving in our Student Ministry on Sundays get the opportunity to build and foster relationships with students, ministering them through the teaching of Scripture, worship and intentional discipleship.
Sunday Evening Gatherings:
Student Ministries also meets together midweek for games, community, teaching and bible discussions. We start the evening together playing games and hearing a message, specially crafted for middle and high school students.
Our Sunday morning gatherings are the beginning for most people at HVCC. We need people who can serve as greeters, as well as members of the worship team.
Because our Connect Groups are so important to us at HVCC, we are always in need of more people to host, lead and co-lead a group.
